Home Learning at The Haven
At Haven, we believe that learning doesn’t stop at the classroom door. To help our pupils continue developing their key skills in maths, English, and other subjects at home, we use a selection of trusted online platforms. These websites are designed to reinforce classroom learning, build confidence, and make practice engaging and accessible.
We encourage families to explore the following resources regularly to support their child’s progress:
Doodle Maths and Times Table Rockstars – for practising core maths skills
Rollama– for spelling, and grammar activities
Accelerator Reader - to support reading fluency and comprehension
Letterjoin - to support with pupils' handwriting skills
Boom Reader - to track reading at home
These tools are part of our commitment to providing a well-rounded and supportive learning experience both in school and at home.
