Let your Light Shine

At The Haven CE Methodist Primary School, we are proud to work in partnership with the Me and My Mind Team.  This collaboration supports our commitment to nurturing the mental health and emotional wellbeing of every child. The Me and My Mind Team provides expert guidance, resources, and interventions that help our pupils understand and manage their thoughts and feelings in a safe, supportive environment. Together, we aim to build resilience, promote self-awareness, and ensure every child feels heard, valued, and empowered.

Me & My Mind, Mental Health Support Teams

The Mental Health Support Team (MHST) works alongside schools to promote children’s emotional wellbeing and provide early help when pupils are struggling. We offer low-intensity, evidence-based interventions (such as anxiety or behaviour support), run groups and workshops, and advise staff on mental health strategies and whole-school approaches. We also support with signposting and referrals to appropriate services when needed, helping to create a safe, supportive environment where children can thrive.

Our school hosts Me & My Mind, Mental Health Support Teams who can directly support our students with their mental health and wellbeing. They provide 1:1 or group support for common difficulties such as anxiety, low mood, managing worries, sleep and healthy eating, transition to secondary school and phobias.
